A perfectionist, the artist explores the inner meaning of the subjects he shares. Jafet Blanch's work is a true invitation to travail and daydream, mixing poetry and abstractions. The artist desires to arouse curiosity and break out of the ordinary, for whom the essence of contemporary experience is defined when the individual loses his form to become an object, and conversely when the object in turn becomes anthropomorphized. He deliberately creates unusual scenes where the figurative is the gateway to an abstract world.
Jafet Blanch is a graduate of the Barcelona Academy of Art, and his work is part of the collection of the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, as well as of several foundations in Europe and Mexico.
